Ethiopia is the scorched earth of Africa. It is surrounded by five countries. Ethiopia is one of the east Africa forgotten lands. This is a place where temperatures soar to more than 55 degrees Celsius while at the same time cooler high-altitude lakes feed some of Africa's most spectacular waterfalls. For the past 30 million years, volcanic activity has created a uniquely diverse terrain. Ethiopia is a land of extremes and it soon becomes clear that nature hasn't finished her work here yet. Ethiopia is the land of extremes, while violent parts of this landscape with one hand but other region nurture life. This fertile wilderness is a heaven for animal that have adapted and perfected unique strategies in order to survive.
Gelada Baboon is the most isolated primate that lives in Ethiopia. Gelada Baboon is the last surviving species of the widespread group of grass grazing monkey once found across all of Africa. Their relative begins to disappearing millions of years ago when the Africa started to warm and edible grass is only can be found at higher altitude. This proofs that Africa was once of the land that rich in food supply for many species before the climate is changing. The Gelada have will face extinction as they have conflict with human. The people also want to dominate higher altitude land as it is fertile for planting. The Gelada baboon may be about to face a battle of battle in order to survive. Despite the rich offering of the mountainous home, the Ethiopia will be the last stand of Gelada Baboon if no counter measure is taken.

That place contains valley and hills that is so unique with people and animals living on. There at the top of the cliff of mountains, we could find out about much native species there such as Gelada baboon, mountain deer’s and predator such as fox. There have been specialized with ability to adapt with that environment there. Even much human believe certain high hill cave as their sacred worshiping place nearly 4000 thousand years. The Gelada species could be only found at this place. Yet, human invaders have brought destruction to the community of this Gelada species and also to the others species that share the territorial with the Gelada species like the mountain deer. Going back to the history, 75 million years ago, was the age that rose up to Ethiopian formation but now it lies like a reserve place. This Ethiopia contains one of hottest place in Earth and lava steam also could be found here. The one roof mountain here with altitude which is the highest in Africa. All this favor the specialized species to live here. The Gelada species too feeds on pioneer grass on the cliff which they crop initial and keep. Even when a choosing leader, they have their style where all female holds superior to choose the suitable male. When it comes to the specialized fox, they hunt their prey alone. Great hunter of burrowing rats. Ancient ruler’s captures Ethiopia as their political and religious base nearly 2000 years ago. Ethiopia was known for its dry desserts and the desserts main care takers where the camel. There were also shepherd who were the rural villagers within the inner Ethiopia. They have their traditional food which reassembles the pan cake. Tribal hunter in Ethiopia smokes into bird nest to get their raw foods.

Geladas, one of the flagship species of Africa’s alpine grassland, are found only in Ethiopian Highlands. They are the smallest vestige of a genus that millions of years ago stretched from South Africa to Spain and into India.
