BUNGA TELANG WEEK 2 REPORT - 6 MAY 2017
Pictures above shows current growth for all 5 pots of the plant. Below is the specific details about the plant.
1. All plants used the same type of soil. The soil is taken from Tasik Kg E, UMS. The pH of the soil from pH meter is 5.38 and pH paper is 5.5
2. The plants watered with 400ml of water twice a day at 10am and 1pm every weekday.
3. The soil texture is sandy loam.
4. At week 2, the plant supposed to covered with black box, but our group decided to cover the plant at week 3 because we could not find enough box that can fit the plant's height.
5. Each of plant was exposed to similar atmosphere condition which is outside the lab for sunlight uptake.
6. The germination rate is:
- Pot 1: 70%
- Pot 2: 80%
- Pot 3: 60%
- Pot 4: 90%
- Pot 5: 50%
7. As can be conclude that pot 4 has the best germination rate.

Why does Pot 4 has better germination rate compared to other pots?
(It is definitely a different type of pot compared to the other 4 pots which has the some color and material property)
