Discussion
Sieve analysis is built with different size of mesh with largest mesh size of 2mm and the smallest size of 63mm(micro). First, the soil is put on top of the shaker and on for 15minutes then the weight of the soil particle in each soil is calculated and tabulated. Sieve analysis is only suitable for calculating the soil particle with coarse sand, medium sand, fine sand and silt as it the mesh have the largest opening with 2mm and smallest opening with 63mm(micro). Any soil particle larger or smaller than these may be considered gravel or coarse sand and silt or clay.
